We believe families deserve clear, honest information — especially during a difficult time. This page explains how pricing, payments, and refunds work when you begin arrangements online.

Pricing

We make every effort to keep the pricing on our website accurate and up to date, in accordance with the FTC Funeral Rule and the laws of each local jurisdiction we serve.

Prices for products, services, and packages are subject to change without notice. The prices shown online reflect current information at the time of your visit, but the controlling prices are those on the General Price List of the funeral home providing your services.

Online Totals Are Good Faith Estimates

The totals shown in our online arrangement experience are good faith estimates based on your current selections. They are provided to help you plan and understand costs — they are not a final bill.

No services, charges, or selections are final until you have spoken with an arrangement counselor or licensed funeral director and a Statement of Funeral Goods and Services has been completed.

The Statement of Funeral Goods and Services provided by your funeral home reflects the final balance owed. Where the online estimate and the Statement differ, the Statement controls.

Payments

Payment policies for online arrangements are subject to change. Depending on your location and selections, you may be asked to provide a deposit, payment for your current selections, or you may have the option to finance through one of our partners.

Regardless of how payment is made, the final balance owed is determined by the Statement of Funeral Goods and Services and may differ from online pricing. Additional fees, taxes, cash advance items, and changes to selected services or products may affect the final amount owed.

Financing

Some locations offer funeral financing through third-party partners. If you choose a financing option, your financing is subject to that partner's separate terms and conditions.

Financing eligibility and lending decisions are made solely by the financing partner — not by Foundation Partners Group or our local funeral homes.

Finalizing Your Arrangements

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, no services are rendered until:

  1. A finalized Statement of Funeral Goods and Services has been agreed upon, and

  2. All required authorizations have been completed.

The finalized Statement of Funeral Goods and Services will be provided by the local funeral home performing the requested services, and you will have the opportunity to review it in advance.

Who May Make Arrangements and Payments

The right to control disposition of a loved one varies by local jurisdiction. While any responsible party may provide payment for services, the legally authorized next of kin (or other person with legal authority under applicable law) retains all rights regarding final contracts and decisions.

A deceased person's funds may not be used to pay for services, except where permitted by law and through explicit provisions such as pre-need arrangements, life insurance policies, or other legally valid documentation. Use of a deceased person's credit or debit card is not permitted anywhere on our platform and may be unlawful.

It is the purchaser's responsibility to accurately represent their identity, their relationship to the deceased, and their authority to use the payment method provided.

Cancellations and Refunds

We understand that plans can change. If a funeral home is unable to provide services, or if a family chooses a different provider, the funeral home reserves the right to retain costs or fees for services already provided — for example, bringing a loved one into our care.

Refunds may be reduced by applicable fees as outlined in the funeral home's General Price List. In some cases, services already rendered may exceed the amount paid, resulting in an additional balance owed.

Refunds for payments made through our online platform will be returned to the original method of payment. Please allow 7–10 business days for the refund to appear, as processing times are determined by your bank or card issuer.

If you have a question or concern about a charge, we encourage you to contact your funeral home first — our teams can resolve most payment matters quickly and directly. Contact information for your funeral home is available on your Statement of Funeral Goods and Services and on the funeral home's website.
